Five tombs more than 4,000 years old have been discovered in the Egyptian necropolis of Sakkara, 30 kilometers south of Cairo. They are decorated with wall paintings and are well preserved.

(Reuters)/tsf. Archaeologists have discovered five ancient tombs in the necropolis of Saqqara, a few kilometers outside of the Egyptian capital Cairo. The paintings found in the tombs are well preserved, as the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities pointed out during a guided tour for journalists on Saturday.
