Archetype Entertainment presents Exodus, a sci-fi RPG

4 years after its creation, the Texan studio belonging to Wizards of the Coast, Archetype Entertainment, announces its first project. As announced from the start, their objective is to offer new licenses outside the universe of Dungeons & Dragons. What better way to do this than to go the opposite of medieval fantasy with a sci-fi RPG. As a result
EXODUSa title that made its appearance at the Game Awards with a trailer provided.

Made up of AAA industry veterans, Archetype Entertainment has all the cards in hand to create success. In this context, EXODUS is a narrative science fiction RPG rich in emotion, a cinematic story and modern AAA gameplay. In short, a random collection of terms that mean everything and nothing. However, the trailer presented demonstrates great ambition. It has the luxury of presenting the story, the cutscenes and the gameplay.

A mix that we see too rarely in the AAA industry anymore, especially when a project doesn’t yet have a release window. At the controls of a Traveler, the player will have to make many choices during his adventure. Choices which, it seems, will have major consequences on the course of events.

“EXODUS opens up an innovative new science fiction world that challenges players to face the consequences of their choices over time”

James Ohlen, co-founder, studio head and executive creative director of Archetype Entertainment

In this future where humanity has fled a dying Earth, the search for a new home may prove more complicated than expected. The Travelers’ mission is to discover a new Eden and settle there. But their quest will be undermined when they discover the existence of the Celestials, an advanced alien race. They are then confronted with a new enemy, while time begins to expand little by little.
