The manufacturer of smart sensors announces that it has won two new contracts with agrochemical and automotive equipment manufacturers. As a result, more than 1,000 products delivered from this year and a strengthening of positions in the key area of the United States.

It was by an increase of nearly 20% that the Stock Exchange welcomed, at the best of this Wednesday session, the signing of two new contracts by Arcure, the company which developed an on-board camera device, called Blaxtair. These are sorts of binoculars which combine artificial intelligence and image processing by morphological analysis and which allow machine operators to distinguish people from other obstacles on a screen, a strong point compared to conventional radars.
Two major manufacturers, a world leader in agrochemicals and a tier one automotive supplier, have selected Blaxtair (…) to equip their forklift fleets in the United States “, Welcomes the management of French in a press release. As a result, more than 1,000 Blaxtair products will be supplied from this year. ” The choice of these two American groups confirms the potential of the United States market on which Arcure expects significant growth in its turnover as of this year and for the years to come. », still enthuses the company. Blaxtair has already sold more than 12,000 copies in more than 50 countries.
“Rich pool in the United States”
Last year, turnover increased by more than 30%, to 10 million euros, with growth as dynamic in France as internationally. The gross margin increased by 44%, to 5.4 million euros, which represents 51% of turnover. Thanks to ” the combined effect of this increase and to good control of operating expenses “, the gross operating surplus increased by one million euros to reach the balance, at 41,000 euros very precisely. If the operating result remained negative, the deficit fell from 3.7 to 2.2 million euros in the space of a year. The net loss is halved, to 2.2 million.
Thanks to a ” rich commercial pool and encouraging developments in the United States “, now reinforced by these two signatures, the company is aiming for double-digit growth in its billings this year as well as a ” significant improvement in profitability “. From the second half of the year, Arcure will be able to count on the launch of Blaxtair Origin, offering monoscopic vision (compared to stereoscopic for previous versions of Blaxtair) with much more powerful artificial intelligence algorithms, with better performance in terms of distance, postures, improved detection and false alarm rates.
