A dispute in a workers’ accommodation in Kühtai (Imst district) on Saturday night probably got completely out of hand. A Croatian (43) injured a 22-year-old Austrian in the face with a kitchen knife. This ended up in the hospital.
It must have been a humid, happy evening, which must have escalated completely on Saturday around 1.30 a.m. in the workers’ accommodation. After an argument between the Croatian and the local, the 43-year-old must have completely lost his nerve and attacked his opponent with a kitchen knife. He suffered a serious facial injury. He grabbed it from a table and inflicted a serious cut on the 22-year-old’s face. The injured local was taken to the Hall State Hospital after receiving first aid. The Croatian is reported to the Innsbruck public prosecutor’s office.
