More than three years after her last album, Ariana Grande has released her new single “Yes, and?” published.
Ariana Grande (30) is back with a new song. The US singer released the song “Yes, and?” on January 12th. published. It is the first single from their seventh studio album, which is expected for this year, reports, among other things the industry magazine “Billboard”. Also an accompanying music video Grande has already published.
When is Ariana Grande’s new album coming?
Shortly before the turn of the year, Grande indicated that her seventh studio album would be released in 2024. The release of their sixth album “Positions” in October 2020 was more than three years ago.
“See you next year,” had the singer on Instagram posted about impressions from the studio. There’s also a clip of Grande explaining how tired she is after another person asks if it’s “almost the last day of this album.” What apparently means is that work on the new record was almost finished at this point.
There are currently no details about a new album. The fact that “Yes, and?” It might be the first single release, but it seems obvious.
Announcement to the critics?
In her song and the accompanying music video, Grande appears to address her critics directly. The clip begins with a display of a business card that says “ag7.” “Who cares if she’s happy? I don’t want happy, I want art,” says a man. One woman notes, “I miss the old Ari, you know, the singer.” Together with other people, all apparently critics, they then enter a room where they attend a performance by Grande.
“Yeah, and? Say that shit at the top of your lungs and be your own damn best friend,” Grande sings, among other things, in the song. She also no longer wants to worry about what others think and doesn’t want to change her authentic life.
