Unveiled in December 2022, the new action game from FromSoftware studio Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon will be released on August 25, 2023. As expected, the title will be available on PC via Steam as well as on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
The adventure takes place on the planet Rubicon 3. More than half a century ago a new substance bearing the name of Coral appeared there. Fabulous source of energy, it could have enabled considerable technological advances. Only, a real disaster will engulf the planet and surrounding stars in flames and storms, creating a burning star system. Today, the Coral resurfaces on Rubicon 3. With the planet contaminated and off limits, various groups fight to gain control of the Coral. And it is in the shoes of an independent mercenary that you will take part in the fight.
To successfully complete your battles, you will need to learn how to pilot your mechs and master the regularly changing combat distances. It’s up to you to make the most of the environments around you and the great mobility of your machine, on land and in the air.
