For several years, Arnaud Ducret shared the life of Marine Nicot. Long before their love story began and their son was born, they met on the Star Academy set.
There are encounters that we do not expect and which mark an existence… Arnaud Ducret knows something about it. In 2002, the life of the actor member of the Miss France 2023 jury changed when he least expected it. At the time a chorister for Nana Mouskouri, he met his future wife… on the set of the Star Academy where she was a dancer. This passion for dance, Maurine Nicot has had it since her earliest childhood. Passionate about the arts, she first wanted to take dance training in high school. She then turned to an acting career and trained at the Eva St Paul course before making her theater debut in several plays such as Pygmalion or The Transvestite Prince. Maurine Nicot then turned to the cinema.
Viewers know her in particular for her appearances in On my lips by Jacques Audiard and The horde. Maurine Nicot also made a few appearances in the series Parents manual where she was able to give… the reply to Arnaud Ducret. But it is therefore not in this emblematic series that she met the future father of her son but on the set of the Star Academy, years before.. “She was next to me backstage and I turned my eye to the side. I looked at her and she was very closed. She was staring in front of her, confided the actor on the set of Strongly Sunday, in 2016. I haven’t spoken to him. I did not dare.” Upset by this meeting, Arnaud Ducret lost his means.
Arnaud Ducret: who is his second wife?
“She was so beautiful that I didn’t dare approach her. Her memory haunted me. Let’s just say I’ve never forgotten her!”, he confided to Paris Match. If their paths have separated, Arnaud Ducret and Marine Nicot found themselves… ten years later, when they participated in the musical spamlot. Determined not to make the same mistake a second time, Arnaud Ducret therefore took his courage in both hands and approached the young woman. “I tell him everything, we talk to each other, we like each other. Our love story started there”he remembered with our colleagues. Both then had a son named Oscar in 2013. and separated a few years later, in 2018.
After this separation, Arnaud Ducret found love again. In July 2021, the actor indeed married Claire Francisci. And the two also met through television. “In a TV show, we brought in a dancer, who was Claire, and they never left each other”explained Arthur in 50 minutes inside, who filmed this union. Became father-in-law of the children of his wife, Arnaud Ducret is in heaven. “I’ve taken them to sets, they’ve come to see the show, I hope they think their stepdad is interesting. And they’re cooler when I’m alone with them than when Claire is around, he joked in the columns of Gala. Same with my son: when he’s with her, everything goes well, when I’m there, he complains, talks…”
