Arnold Schwarzenegger and his colleague Chris Hemsworth met in a Brazilian gym.
It is no coincidence that the two action icons Arnold Schwarzenegger (75) and Chris Hemsworth (39) met yesterday, June 17, while working out in São Paulo, Brazil. The two muscle men are there as prominent guests of the global Netflix fan event “Tudum”. Last but not least, to drum up advertising for their current film and series projects.
Netflix action with “Fubar” and Extraction 2″
Schwarzenegger is currently providing record-breaking streaming rates on Netflix with the action format “Fubar” and the documentary series “Arnold”. Hemsworth has been there since June 16 with his new film “Tyler Rake: Extraction 2”.
Celebrity workout in São Paulo
One day after the start of the fan event, the two actors presented their Instagram and Twitter accounts a photo said to have been taken during a chance meeting at a local gym. On it you can see: two sweaty, but in a good mood, Hollywood stars in front of a tropical jungle backdrop, who are obviously not only interested in each other’s film projects.

Hemsworth captioned the pic on Instagram, “You never know who you might meet at the gym! What a dream to train with the one and only @schwarzenegger.” Captioning his Instagram post, his idol Arnie said, “First we pump up, then we pump up the amazing fans in Brazil @chrishemsworth”. On Twitter, Arnie Hemsworth’s tweet commented, “Look how well trained you are!”
Fans immediately gave Hemsworth, known for his role as the Marvel character Thor, the very appropriate new name “Thorminator”.
