The concert halls are gradually closing around the world … The productions are taken short, the concerts are canceled, to the greatest despair of artists and fans. It's a pretty dark time for the music industry. But what should not be forgotten, is that music softens manners and that it must remain anchored in our daily life, finely or not. This is why many artists have wanted to keep this sacred bond with their fans. Obviously, they respected the health security instructions. How? 'Or' What ? By using the magic of the internet!

Instagram and Facebook have been a big help to them. Lives via social networks are increasing and as much to tell you that this allows to decrease this anxiety-provoking and quite disturbing atmosphere on the Internet very taken by the current very complex context. This was also an opportunity for some singers to keep their promise and offer, despite cancellation in theaters, a concert. To celebrate the birthday of Andrée Chedid, his deceased grandmother who would have turned 100 this year, Matthieu Chedid gave a 40-minute concert via Facebook Live. Accompanied by actor Pierre Richard, he resumed his greatest hits. It was beautiful, poetic and memorable. Internet users were delighted with this sweet moment: "Thank you for these bubbles of lightness in the surrounding heaviness. Signed by a nurse. We need you artists to cheer us up" could we read in particular in the comments. Among the French artists, Jean-Louis Aubert is one of the first to have lent himself to the game. He even offered a superb cover of "Conceived" by John Lennon.

Side international stars, the greatest artists had the pleasure of making a concert from their home. On March 16, John Legend performed in boxer shorts from Los Angeles. Accompanied by his wife Chrissy Teigen, he revealed a nice moment of complicity with his beloved. Fans even got a cover of Stevie Wonder. A precious and free moment … What more could you ask for?

Chris Martin of the group Coldplay was not deprived either. The group leader explained that he is separated from his colleagues because everyone is at the other end of the world: "I was supposed to be with the group Coldplay today, but we are stuck in different countries, we cannot play together. So I thought it would be nice to come and hear from you, know where you are and what I could do for you. " Inevitably, some fans asked for some live songs. And the singer performed with pleasure. We were thus treated to 20 minutes of unforgettable live.

For other artists, it is also an opportunity to make good resolutions. Pink, for example, takes advantage of this confinement to learn the piano. This is what she revealed to her fans on Instagram: "Free piano lessons from my heart for yours. To make you feel all my love" she explains on video. This is how she was able to deliver a vibrant performance to her fans. A unique moment that allowed everyone to get away from this somewhat gloomy everyday life.

No doubt: music softens manners, especially in these difficult times.
