A$AP Rocky has been arrested in Los Angeles. Singer Rihanna’s boyfriend is accused of assault with a deadly weapon.
US rapper A$AP Rocky (33) was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) gave in a message and known on Twitter. Accordingly, the musician is accused of assault with a deadly weapon.
The shooting reportedly took place in Hollywood on the evening of November 6, 2021. A$AP Rocky, who was with two other people, is said to have shot him after an argument with a friend. The victim sustained minor injuries and received medical treatment. “After the shooting, the suspect and two other men fled the area on foot,” the statement said.
Love holiday followed by arrest
According to several US media, A$AP Rocky is said to have been on vacation in Barbados with his partner Rihanna (34), with whom he is currently expecting his first child. The couple landed back in Los Angeles on a private jet on Wednesday, after which the rapper is said to have been arrested. According to reports, Rihanna was there. The police report concluded, “The case will be submitted to the Los Angeles County Attorney’s Office for review.”
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky went public with their relationship in May 2021. The two finally made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala in mid-September 2021 in New York. Rihanna’s pregnancy was announced in late January 2022.
