Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade: A new open-world AAA episode in China, but on mobiles

The last Ubisoft Forward dated has been rich in announcements aroundAssassin’s Creedand this is quite normal, since the saga is celebrating its fifteenth anniversary. Assassin’s Creed Mirage already promises to offer us a little wind of nostalgia by reclaiming codes from the first episodes, and Assassin’s Creed Infinity and its many games promise a busy schedule. But the future of the series will not be written only on consoles. Ubisoft has already shown on several occasions that the mobile world was a sector in which the publisher wanted to invest, and we see it once again with Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade.

The Assassin’s Creed license takes the plunge on mobiles

Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade does not even have a definitive title yet that we have already seen some images of the game during the evening organized by Ubisoft. Behind this code name therefore hides a mobile game, which however has the ambitions and means that are close to those of a AAA.

We are here in front ofan episode in 3D, but also in an open worldwith a graphic result that should make your smartphones cough. Codename Jade will take place in China, during the very beginning of the 3rd century, and will let you create your own character by personalizing it as you wish. The title will also be free-to-play.

That’s about all we know for the moment about this very particular opus, which should be released in quite a while since it does not yet have a definitive name.
