Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Ubisoft celebrates its 10th anniversary by revealing an astronomical figure

How time flies, because if this month of October 2023 opened with the launch ofAssassin’s Creed Mirageit also marks the 10 years of a previous episode of the license and not the least, since it is Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. The adventure against a backdrop of piracy making us embody Edward Kenway was in fact launched on October 29, 2013 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, followed by PS4 and Xbox One versions since these consoles were launched in November of the same year, and Wii U following a postponement. Yes, it doesn’t make us any younger. Since then, the Switch has been entitled to it, as has Google Stadia, an already closed platform. To mark the occasion, Ubisoft revealed a fairly impressive figure :

Yes, these are no less than 34 million players totaled Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag over the past decade. This does not necessarily translate into sales since it is included in the offers Ubisoft+ Multi Access on Xbox And Ubisoft+ Classics on PlayStation, and has already been offered. He also inspired Skull and Boneswhich should finally be released at the beginning of next year, even if it does not repeat the phases of gameplay terrestrial…

The adventures ofEdward Kenway are currently continuing through the webtoon Assassin’s Creed: Forgotten Temple launched last spring. If you play on PC Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag – Gold Edition is sold €35.99 at Gamesplanet.
