Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Ubisoft reveals the lifespan, phew, it will be shorter than Valhalla

For many players, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has been a overdose. Although the gameUbisoft contains many qualities, the title drowned the players under an avalanche of quests and missions (not necessarily thrilling), enough to scare the fans who would simply have preferred to follow a classic adventure among the Vikings.

Good news, Assassin’s Creed Mirage won’t be like Valhalla. With this opus developed by Ubisoft Bordeauxthe studio wants to go back to basics, whether with the historical setting of the adventure (basim in Baghdad) or in its construction. Julien Chieze recently spoke with Fabian Salomon, producer of the game, who explained to the French videographer thatAssassin’s Creed Mirage has an estimated lifespan of between 20 and 30 hours :

Since we do a lot of internal playtests at Ubi, it’s part of our process, we really want to get closer to the players, so here we’re going to say that the last data we received, we’re in average around 11pm, 24am, something like that. It can go up to 25-30 hours for really completionists, and we’ll say that those who are going to rush the game will be around 20 hours.

That’s it, count on 20 hours in a straight line to discover the story of basim and ten additional hours for the little extras. As a reminder, according to How Long to Beat and our own experience, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla required 60 hours for the main quest, 100 hours for the secondary missions and up to 150 hours to complete everything at 100% ! As much to say thatAssassin’s Creed Mirage will be much more modest, and this is clearly not a bad thing, many fans have dropped the previous opus before its end.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage release date set for October 12, 2023 on PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, you can pre-order it at €49.99 on Amazon in Launch Edition.
