Assassin’s Creed Red is probably one of the most anticipated titles from Ubisoft. It must be admitted that the game seems to tick many boxes that players like, notably AC and… Japan!

Here, this is a supposed first image of Assassin’s Creed Red, which is also accompanied by several pieces of information. This partly corroborates certain rumors about the game that we were able to discover as early as November 2023. What exactly can we learn? That’s all we know.
Assassin’s Creed Red already the victim of a big leak!
So, a very first image of Assassin’s Creed Red has just leaked. For the moment, the source remains unidentifiable. But some sleuths have noticed that on the right edge of the photo, we can see a piece of a badge from Ubisoft Romania. Even if this could be a very well done photomontage, this possibility cannot be ruled out. All information must therefore be taken with a pinch of salt.
For the rest, it is in fact an image of a menu of this new episode where we can very clearly see a selection of characters, which tends to confirm the presence of two protagonists as we could have expected. doubt it with the many rumors. We can clearly see the “select a character” menu. No more room for doubt with that…
For the first time, the game would feature two protagonists:
- Naoe, an assassin who continues the tradition of the brotherhood in the rich historical and cultural context of Japan.
- A samurai warrior of African origin, whose name has not yet been revealed.
But that’s not all, the image allows us to learn that the game runs (for the moment) in 30 FPS/1080p in quality mode on Xbox Series X. Quite a program.
What do we know about the game at the moment?
In addition to the information which is confirmed today via a “stolen” photo, many rumors revolve around Assassin’s Creed Red. According to several reports, the world map of Assassin’s Creed Red would be larger than that of Valhalla but would remain less extensive than that of Odyssey. Additionally, the game would incorporate new and improved gameplay mechanics, including the use of grappling hooks similar to those seen in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Ghost of Tsushima.
Other additions, such as the ability to camouflage yourself by lying in tall grass or using darkness to hide, would enrich the infiltration aspect. A spy system as well as specific equipment for the protagonists, such as kunai, shuriken, smoke bombs, and bells, are also mentioned. Finally, the game would take advantage of the capabilities of next-generation consoles, promising destructible environments and a visual improvement compared to previous titles in the saga.
