Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is (finally) coming to Steam

Ubisoft will finally return to Steam. It starts with the arrival of his biggest hit in recent years, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Two years after its release, only on its platform, Ubisoft Connect, and the Epic Games Store, the open-world RPG will land on Valve’s in December.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is coming to Steam

The news is not really surprising, given that a rumor about it emerged recently. It is therefore confirmed with the return of Ubisoft games to Steam, starting December 6 for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. This date is not insignificant, given that it coincides with the release of the DLC “The Final Chapter” which normally marks the end of the follow-up for Valhalla, just a few months before the release of the new game, Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

This choice of Ubisoft is not insignificant and could allow the game, the best of the franchise, to experience a second youth, since most of the productions that arrive on Steam with a lag are very often successes (Sea of Thieves can testify). To best prepare for this release, if you were waiting for its availability on Steam before enjoying this adventure in the time of the Vikings, know that you can already add it to your wishlist by going to its page. .

Regarding the future of Ubisoft on Steam, it seems that the studio wants to increase its visibility and its chances, given that at least two other games will arrive, namely Anno 1800 and Roller Champions, though it’s probably too late for the latter. Let’s hope, in the future, that the French publisher offers its games on Steam, to avoid having to multiply launchers or simply put the odds on its side to ensure success, as Skull & Bones could be.
