Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players will be able to, if they wish, discover a brand new adventure, on March 10, 2022, with the Dawn of Ragnarök DLC. This will focus on Odin, who finds himself in Svartalfheim, the kingdom of the dwarves, with the sole objective of saving Baldr, his son, from the clutches of the immortal fire giant Surtr. The story therefore takes place thousands of years before the story told in Valhalla, and promises around 35 hours of additional content to those who purchase it.
This new world, is a huge realm filled with impressive structures built by the dwarves, mountains of gold and dominated by the branches of Yggdrasil, the World Tree. Occupied by the forces of Surtr, fire giants who wish to get their hands on powerful relics, hidden in Svartalfheim, this world is covered in magma, but also in ice. These will be Odin’s main enemies during his quest, which will be endowed with significant assets, such as the Hugr-Rip, a bracelet that allows him to steal the powers of his enemies..
Several abilities will be unlockable and upgradeable, but only two can be activated at the same time. It will therefore be necessary to make a choice, which could be important. New armor will also be there, but also a new type of weapon, the Atgeir. An Arena is also set up, which allows you to face waves of enemies and bosses to collect quality rewards.
Everything will be available from March 10, for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players, who will have spent the sum of 40 € to win this extension. Remember that Ubisoft has, according to rumors, chosen to transform a DLC initially planned for Valhalla into a standalone game, which could be released at the end of 2022.
