Assault on Kheira Hamraoui: three new suspects placed in police custody, the investigation relaunched!

It’s a story that completely changed the life of Kheira Hamraoui and at the same time the season of Paris Saint-Germain, the football club in which she plays. On November 4, 2021, as she returned to her home in Chatou (Yvelines) after an evening organized by the club, the 32-year-old player was the victim of an ambush. As she got out of the car, she was very violently attacked with iron bars by two hooded men. At first, suspicion fell on her teammate in Paris, Aminata Diallo, before the latter was cleared, but relations between the two women deteriorated very sharply.

Having become a real pariah within the PSG workforce, Kheira Hamraoui is living a very complicated season and her extramarital love affair with former football star Éric Abidal is revealed in broad daylight. For their part, the investigators of the judicial police of Versailles skate and no track seems to lead to the culprits of this violent attack. At least until today, since we have just learned that three men in their twenties were arrested on Wednesday morning in the Paris region then taken into custody. These were arrested “at their home”according to the prosecution, in remarks reported by AFP.

One of the individuals already known to the police

According to a source familiar with the matter, the three men arrested this morning are suspected of having participated in the attack on Kheira Hamraoui. “At least one of them has a criminal record”, said the prosecution to AFP. Regarding the arrests, they took place in Yerres in Essonne for one of them, while the other two were arrested in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges, in Val-de-Marne. These police custody are part of the judicial investigation opened on November 15 in Versailles against X for “criminal association” and “aggravated violence”

For the time being, neither the PSG player nor her lawyer wished to comment on this new information which could completely relaunch the investigation.
