ASUS unveils ROG Flow X16 and Strix Scar 17 SE gaming PCs

ASUS today just introduced two new laptops in its range Republic of GamersWhere ROG for the close friends. The manufacturer adds to its catalog ROG Flow X16 and ROG Strix Scar 17 SE (for Special Edition), obviously cut out for the practice of mobile video games.

The ROG Flow X16 embeds a processor AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics card, and it has the particularity of sporting a convertible design to use it in clamshell, tent, support or tablet mode. The 16-inch QHD 16:10 screen is a slab Nebula Mini LED DisplayHDR 1000 with 1100 nits brightness and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and the PC also has the technology Frost Force and a heatsink Pulsar with three fans to cool its 2.1 kg chassis. It will be available during the third quarter of 2022, from €3,199.

The ROG Strix Scar 17 SE is a PC equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and a Intel Core i9-12950HXwithout forgetting a QHD 240 or 360 Hz screen with a response time of 3 ms, compatible Dolby Vision and Adaptive-Sync. On the cooling side, ASUS opt for a liquid metal Thermal Grizzly and a custom vapor chamber covering almost half of the motherboard.
