Just after Mauricette, it was Dr. Jean-Jacques Monsuez, 65, who was vaccinated. Quoted by Franceinfo, he added: "If this vaccine can help us defeat this virus, so much the better." According to him, it is necessary "to support patients towards this vaccination, even if it is their choice and that their decision must be respected".
"We have a new weapon against the virus: the vaccine", said in the wake of Emmanuel Macron on Twitter. Asked by the Sunday newspaper, Olivier Véran announced for his part that the start of vaccination was a "very good news". "We cannot afford to let the epidemic flare up again", explained the Minister of Health.
