Hurt was seen five times in the role, which apparently still aims high. Ross first appeared as a general in The Incredible Hulk. He always worked his way up and was most recently US Secretary of State in “Avengers: Endgame”. In the two new MCU projects “Thunderbolts” and “Captain America: New World Order” Ross is already US President – played by Harrison Ford.
Of course, fans of the comics know that Ross is much more than that. Thanks to the organization AIM, he was able to transform into Red Hulk, one of Bruce Banner’s archenemies of the Hulk. Since “Thunderbolts” brings together a number of villains, Ross” could now also have had a great moment in the MCU. Harrison Ford’s casting also fits in there, because the character of the Red Hulk should be created entirely on the computer. An actor who comes from home jumping at home and tearing up cars is therefore not necessary.
Both MCU films are scheduled to hit theaters in 2024. Then Harrison Ford will be 82 years old.
