Tuesday afternoon there was a collision between a motorcycle and a car at an intersection in Graz-Gries. The motorcycle driver suffered serious injuries.
At around 2 p.m., a 62-year-old from the Graz-Umwelt district steered his motorcycle on Herrgottwiesgasse in a southerly direction. A truck was driving directly in front of him. It turned right at the “Auf der Tändelwiese” intersection. During the turning process, the 62-year-old should have overtaken the vehicle on the left. At the same time, a 31-year-old from the Graz-Umwelt district drove a vehicle into the intersection. There was a collision with the 62-year-old. The motorcycle driver did not fall, but suffered serious injuries. He was taken to UKH Graz.
