  • The price is 120 euros.
  • You can play original modules with the device.

Plaion and Atari have announced a modern version of the Atari 2600 called the Atari 2600+. This device is based on the original and can even play original modules (Atari 2600 and 7800), writes Plaion in the press release. This should be a dream for Atari fans who still have games at home.

But there are also modern features such as an HDMI output and different resolutions, as well as a widescreen mode.

The feel of the controllers, the switches and the wood grain on the surface of the console should give you real eighties flair.
