Atari: losses widened in the 1st half – 01/18/2022 at 11:26

(CercleFinance.com) – Atari publishes for its first half of 2021-22 a consolidated net income of -3.5 million euros, compared to -1.4 million a year earlier, its operating income current having fallen from -1.2 to -2.8 million from one year to the next.

Revenue decreased by 23.8% to six million euros (-20.3% at constant exchange rates), reflecting the 73% decline in licensing activities and the 51% decrease in video game activity, linked to the transition of the Atari Gaming division towards premium games.

Atari is targeting an improvement in financial performance in the second half of 2021-22 compared to the first six months of the financial year, a dynamic which it says “should be driven by several key projects”.
