After its recent postponement, which places it on the same day as the Resident Evil 4 Remake from Capcom, Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End and the Secret Key is full of information on the occasion of the Tapei Games Show 2023. On the menu, cooking, workshop customization, an opening and new images.
We eat at all the workshops
We start by mentioning the opening credits of the game which has been unveiled and which you can admire above with a style that is very similar to that of the anime openings. We are also entitled to never-before-seen artwork of the chief illustrator of this trilogy, Toridamono. In this ultimate adventure, Ryza and her friends will have to save their hometown from a mysterious threat. The opportunity for the group, which can count on recurring and new characters, to explore a whole bunch of strange islands.
Among the new features of this opus, we note the implementation ofa randomly generated quest system and specific to each region. This will allow us to better know the given territory and the different characters present on it, however we are told that this will also have an impact on the ground. The kitchen also benefits from a small overhaul since Ryza will be able to cook for her friends via the many campfires scattered everywhere (until now cooking was also done via alchemy) knowing that the quests will give access to new recipes.
Ultimately, the title will emphasize the nomadic aspect of the adventure since our accomplished alchemist will be able to deploy his workshop on these same campfires. This can be deployed under three shapes styles of structures : The research base that is more advantageous for exploration; The laboratory for syntheses; And farm for collection.
Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End and the Secret Key is scheduled for March 24 on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch and PC via Windows and Steam.
