Jennifer Lopez will try to save the world from artificial intelligence in a sci-fi thriller for Netflix.
It was recently revealed that Jennifer Lopez, 51, has signed a mega-deal with Netflix. She is to produce several film and TV content for the streaming service with her company Nuyorican Productions. This also includes a new sci-fi thriller. On The 51-year-old posted a picture on Instagram of himself with a draft of the script.
“Can’t wait here at all,” she writes and confirms that “Atlas” should appear on the streaming service. According to a report by the industry portal “Deadline” Lopez will not only produce the film. She is apparently also supposed to play the main role herself. Brad Peyton (43), known among other things for “Rampage – Big Meets Bigger” with Dwayne Johnson (49) from 2018, will be directing. It is not currently known who will be seen next to Lopez.
What “Atlas” will be about
There is already information about what it should roughly be about. The focus of the film is supposed to be a woman named Atlas. This will fight an artificial intelligence (AI) in the form of a soldier. The AI wants to end all wars, but has decided that there is only one way to achieve it: the end of humanity. Now Atlas has to team up with another AI to stop the soldier.
