Atlas: Jennifer Lopez lost in space in the breathtaking teaser for the new Netflix film


Netflix will soon offer its subscribers a new science fiction film that deals with Artificial Intelligence with Atlas. Expected on May 24 on the streaming platform, this feature film with Jennifer Lopez in the title role is revealed in first images which announce an explosive epic in space.

In AtlasJennifer Lopez (The Mother) plays Atlas Shepherd, a brilliant data analyst who must put aside her distrust of AI on a mission to apprehend a renegade robot with whom she shares a past. Because when things go wrong, his only hope to save humanity from AI… is to trust it.

The film takes place in a futuristic world and as evidenced by its first teaser, it promises to be packed with action. On the casting side, Lopez is accompanied by Sterling K. Brown (This is Us), Simu Liu (barbie), Gregory James Cohan (Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty), Abraham Popoola (Andor), Lana Parrilla (Once Upon a Time) and Mark Strong (Kingsman: The Secret Service).

Directed by Brad Peyton (San Andreas, Rampage), Atlas is co-written by Leo Sardarian (Startup) and Aron Eli Coleite (Locke & Key). Producers include Peyton, Lopez, Jeff Fierson, Joby Harold, Tory Tunnell, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, Benny Medina, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter.
