Partners for two years, the champion of the Club World Cup, and the Spanish champion are now officially associated.
For an additional season, the famous Spanish club Atlético de Madrid has announced that it is strengthening its ties with the Movistar Riders esport structure on FIFA. Since January 1, the two teams are now playing under a common banner, with a new name for the occasion, “Atlético de Madrid – Movistar Riders” and will participate in the national and international competitions of the 2023 circuit on FIFA 23.
This announcement marks a new stage in the relationship between the two clubs, who have joined forces in the national eLaLiga competition since 2020, where Movistar Riders FIFA player Andoni “AndoniiPM” Payo, coached by Sergio “Espi” Espier defended the colors of the rojiblanco club.
The two teams had been partners for two years. Movistar Riders, one of the biggest teams on the FIFA scene today, has won the FIFAe Club World Cup 2022 last year, notably thanks to AndoniiPM. The Spanish player also competed with Atlé for win the Spanish championship. On the occasion of this merger, tuga810Movistar’s other PS5 player, also joins the Spanish club, coached by Espi.
