Audio-Technica unveils two headsets for gamers

Audio Technica is a reference for all music lovers, the Japanese manufacturer is known for its vinyl turntables, microphones and headphones, primarily designed for listening to music. Corn the manufacturer is obviously also eyeing the video game industry and introduces two new headsets for gamers.

Audio Technica thus launched this week two helmets, the ATH-GL3 and the ATH-GDL3, respectively closed or open models compatible with PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PC and any other device with a 3.5 Jack port. The manufacturer highlights its know-how and promises “exemplary sound purity”, without forgetting comfort of use thanks to “a lightweight design” and “first choice materials”. The “earth” element inspired the closed and solid design of the ATH-GL3 helmet, to hear and feel every moment of a game, song or conversation for a truly immersive experience. Its closed design provides excellent sound isolation, blocking out all surrounding sound so you can enjoy and feel every moment, in a fully immersive experience. Inside the closed-back design earcups are the large 45mm drivers that deliver high-resolution audio in superb detail.

Its light weight of 230 g allows you to benefit from long and pleasant gaming sessions. The left earpiece incorporates a volume control button and a mute switch to allow simplified management of the professional quality flexible microphone. The mic is detachable, as are the two included cables (one 3m with 3.5mm mic and headphone connectors for connecting to a computer, and another 1.2m with 3.5mm TRRS connector for connecting to PS5, Xbox Series X and other game consoles).

The “air” element inspired the open and natural design of the ATH-GDL3 helmet, delivering a deep and immersive listening experience. Its open design allows for a spacious and natural listening experience while remaining immersive, providing users with sound localization in a very wide sound space. Its light weight of barely 220 g offers total comfort.
