informs the market of the granting of its request to postpone the holding of its annual general meeting and provides an update on the closing of its annual parent company and consolidated financial statements for the financial year ended December 31, 2022.
GRANTING OF THE EXTENSION OF THE AMG GENERAL MEETING
Following the filing with the President of the Mixed Court of Cayenne of a request to obtain an extension, until September 30, 2023, for the holding of its annual general meeting (read the press release of September 29, May 2023), AMG announces that the Mixed Court of Cayenne issued an order on June 23, 2023 granting the extension of the holding of the meeting until September 30, 2023 at the latest.
The Company will inform the market as soon as possible of the date of convening and holding of the annual general meeting.
POSTPONEMENT OF PUBLICATION OF THE 2022 ANNUAL REPORT
Following the press release of May 29, 2023 and despite its best efforts, the Group will not be able to publish its annual report on the parent company and consolidated financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2022 as of June 30 2023.
As part of the confirmation of financial and non-financial information, various external studies have been commissioned (in particular the analysis of resources in Peru and the situation of mining titles in French Guyana), these having recently been received, the company is making its best efforts to publish the 2022 annual report as soon as possible.
The audit of the consolidated financial statements by the Board of Statutory Auditors also, pending these external studies, may enter the revision phase.
Once finalized, the annual and consolidated financial statements as well as the 2022 annual report will be submitted to the Audit Committee and presented, for approval, to the AMG Board of Directors.
A press release will be published by the end of next week on the unaudited consolidated results.
