Daniil Medvedev was fined 12,000 dollars (about 11,000 euros) for his bad behavior during his Australian Open semi-final won on Friday against Stefanos Tsitsipas, the organizers announced on Saturday. Tsitsipas was fined 5,000 dollars (4,500 EUR), also for violating the code of conduct during the same match.

Medvedev’s fine is divided into two: one of 4,000 dollars (3,500 EUR) for “unsportsmanlike conduct” and the second of 8,000 dollars (7,000 EUR) for “visible obscenity”.
