Who is in charge of the series Avatar ?

This new Netflix series is created and written by Albert Kim, already at the helm of the series Sleepy Hollow, Pantheon And Nikita. He was helped with the writing by Audrey Wong Kennedy (Fantastic stories), Keely MacDonald (the little-known series October Faction) and Gabriel Llanas (Supergirl).

The eight episodes of the first season are directed by the very experienced Michael Goi (Big Sky), Roseanne Liang (Shadow in the Cloud), Jabbar Raisani (Game Of Thrones) and Jet Wilkinson (The Old Man).

Music lovers will be happy to learn that the music is by Takeshi Furukawa, who helmed the series’ original soundtracks. Mythic Quest: The Raven’s Feast and video games The Last Guardian.

Finally, although they were originally attached to the series as showrunners, creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko ultimately left the project to “artistic disputes”which is not very reassuring regarding the fidelity of the adaptation with the original material.
