That’s it: it’s finally the long-awaited start of the 2024 Formula 1 season. And like last year, it’s on the Sakhir circuit in Bahrain that this very first Grand Prix of the championship is taking place.

Last season, Max Verstappen and Red Bull crushed the competition with nearly 300 points ahead of second-placed driver Sergio Pérez. An exceptional performance from the Dutch driver, which began with a victory on the Bahrain circuit.

There is no doubt that Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) and Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin) will want to disrupt this supremacy. And they will have plenty to do with a 2024 season featuring a record number of Grand Prix (24!). Another particularity: three of them, including the one in Bahrain, will be held on a Saturday, due to Ramadan. Be careful of odd schedules!
