Baldur’s Gate 3 welcomes the Paladin class

After more than two years in Early Access, Baldur’s Gate 3 was given a release date in recent Game Awards, namely August 2023, and Larian Studios is bouncing back even more by offering Patch 9 which, in addition to the fixes requested by the community, adds a new class. It is therefore the Paladin who comes to venture into mazes and dungeons, embellished with two sub-classes: “Oath of Devotion”, and “Oath of the Ancients”, with a greater orientation towards support in the second case. But it would be very bad to know the representatives of this caste to imagine them only pure. Indeed, a secret subclass exists.

Called Perjury, the latter becomes accessible when a Paladin breaks his sacred oath and allows access to specific abilities. In addition to this size addition, the patch gives players the possibility to climb up to level 5, integrates a flight spell (air movement), as well as an improvement in the reaction system.
