Bank fees: increases coming in 2024

Prices frozen in 2023, but increases in bank fees coming in 2024. This is one of the conclusions of the study carried out by MoneyVox as part of its 2024 Bank Trophies. For example, the price of banking fees account maintenance – 28 euros per year on average – continues to increase. The average increase in 2024 is 2.5%, or around 1 euro more, but strong disparities are noted: they will increase by 21.4% at La Banque Postale and up to 50% at Crdit Agricole Center Ouest. Additional bonus to Caf: no change before 2024

If you receive monthly aid from CAF to supplement your income, the net social amount is the new reference to communicate to continue receiving your aid such as the RSA or the activity bonus. But a recent system update lost tens of euros for certain beneficiaries, according to Eric Gautron, federal secretary of Force Ouvrière (FO) in charge of collective social protection. A pack of cigarettes 12 euros on January 1st

On January 1, 2024, the price of packs of cigarettes will increase by around 40 to 50 cents. The price of certain brands such as Dunhill or Marlboro Red should therefore reach 12 euros. Since the arrival of Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace, the average annual price of a packet of Marlboro has increased from 7.05 euros in 2017 to 11.50 euros in 2023.
