Bank of America in settlement talks with US regulators over employee cellphone use

Bank of America said Friday it was engaged in settlement negotiations with the US Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission over employee communications on unapproved devices.

Earlier in July, the bank said it had earmarked about $200 million for regulatory investigations into the unauthorized use of personal phones by bank staff.
