The trailer for the documentary series “Our Great National Parks” is here. Barack Obama will guide through the natural parks of this world as a speaker.
Netflix has released the first trailer for Our Great National Parks. Former US President Barack Obama (60) leads through the nature documentary as narrator and speaker. He can also be heard and seen in the teaser.
The five-part documentary series takes you through various national parks and wilderness areas around the world. The series shows the diverse wildlife of these protected areas. And it shows the benefits that research into the animals that live there can also have for humans.
“A fish that can walk, surfing hippos that want to catch the waves. And species that don’t exist anywhere else in the world,” Obama says in the teaser. There are also spectacular pictures of these animals, as well as turtles and monkeys.
Part of the Obamas’ Netflix deal
Higher Ground Productions produced Our Great National Parks, the company of Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama (58). The Obamas founded Higher Ground Productions in 2018. That same year, they signed a multi-year deal with Netflix. The deal includes the production of various formats, both documentary and fictional.
“Our Great National Parks” is one of a series of projects announced by Netflix and the Obamas in February 2021.
