Barbara Meier (33) and husband Klemens Hallmann (44) are looking forward to the birth of their first child together. In about two months, the youngsters should see the light of day. Now in an interview with RTL and the magazine "Gala" the model revealed the first details, above all: "It will be a girl."

In spring 2016 the "Germany's next top model" winner from 2007 made her relationship with the Austrian entrepreneur and self-made billionaire public. They were married three years later. How does the couple imagine the birth of their daughter? "Klemens wants to go to the delivery room," said Meier, who supports her husband's plans. "I think it's nice when he witnesses the first moment of our child. Men cannot participate very actively in pregnancy."
And the two seem to have already thought about the upbringing of the child. They want to raise their daughter "as traditionally" as they became. "With values like punctuality, reliability and honesty," said the model. However, she already sees a challenge: "We are in places where there is a lot of glamor." So it could be "a little bit more difficult" with the child being down to earth. Nevertheless, the girl should learn from an early age "that money does not fall from the sky, but you have to work hard for it".
