The upheavals in social networks will have marked the year 2023. With each controversy surrounding the management of Twitter, now X, by Elon Musk, the opportunity for a clone to establish itself as the alternative.

Like a comet, Meta’s Threads social network made a notable launch in July, before disappearing from European territory almost immediately. Several months later, Threads made its return to France and Europe last week. Based on Instagram, this Twitter clone already hosts major influencer, brand and media accounts. You can obviously already find Frandroid there.

Are you already a Threads user?

And you ? Have you already started on Threads? Or do you want to pass by yet another place for online discussion and debate. This is the question we asked you last week, during our weekly survey.

Overall, we can say that the feedback is mixed, to say the least. At the top, 38.4% of people who responded to the survey indicate that they have not opened Threads and that the social network does not interest them. It must be said that this was already the case for Twitter, a social network that is ultimately little used on a daily basis, but which has managed to make a name for itself thanks to the speeches of strong personalities on the platform.

Behind, a little more than a third of voters indicate that they registered for the service upon arrival in France. For more than 21% of voters, registration has not yet been done and they prefer to wait a little. Finally, for the 6.7% of people wondering what Threads is, don’t hesitate to turn to our articles on the subject.
