At around 4:15 a.m. Wednesday, a 50-year-old man from the community of Griffen was helping a cow to “calve” in the barn of his farm. A cow weighing around 450 kg standing next to this animal suddenly kicked out with its hind foot and injured the man in the area of his left foot. He suffered serious injuries from the kick and was taken to the UKH Klagenfurt by the rescue service.
