Sky and Wow have some highlights on offer in July 2023. Also new this month is the fourth season of the Emmy-winning dark comedy series Barry, which stars Bill Hader (“Beau Is Afraid”) as a hit man who decides to quit his job to become an actor .

But in the new season, Barry was duped by his acting teacher Gene and is therefore behind bars. There he almost loses his mind, because his archenemy Monroe Fuches (“Perry Mason” star Stephen Root) is also in prison with him.

However, Barry is not only terrified of Fuches’ anger, but also feels extreme self-blame. Sally (Sarah Goldberg) isn’t coping well with the whole situation, but Chechen gangster NoHo Hank (“Gotham” star Anthony Carrigan) and his Bolivian lover Cristobal (“The Expanse” actor Michael Irby) seize their opportunity while Barry is locked away.

Genes (“The French Dispatch” actor Henry Winkler) life after the arrest is also described, who has to struggle with his new living conditions. Although Barry can’t hurt him right now, Gene always senses danger.
