Basel – family of four attacked – police arrest 17 and 20-year-olds


According to previous investigations, three men attacked a 52-year-old man, his 48-year-old wife, the twelve-year-old daughter and the 15-year-old son in the Greifengasse in Basel on Saturday night. According to a statement, two people were injured. The perpetrators then fled.

Due to the personal description, the police were able to stop two suspects shortly afterwards. The two French citizens, aged 20 and 17, were arrested.

A third suspect is wanted. He is described as follows: 21 to 29 years old, 170 to 180 cm tall, 60 to 80 kg, brown skin color, North African appearance, slim stature, spoke French, well-groomed appearance, upright posture, confident demeanor, black, short hair, Brush cut, wore a black down jacket, black sweater with white inscription, black jeans, has a longer scar on the head, on the left side at the parting.
