The Swans Gmunden basketball players won the Supercup in a gripping duel at the doubles winner BC Vienna! The runner-up prevailed on Thursday in the Hallmann Dome in Vienna against the champion and cup winner with 95:92 (53:46) and can therefore look forward to an excellent start to the season. An open exchange of blows developed, until the final phase neither team was able to break away decisively. Shortly before the end, the Swans – led by King – gained a small advantage, but head coach Aramis Naglic’s team kept the game exciting until the last second with several three-pointers from Ivan Siriscevic.
