Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster: Bandai Namco resuscitates the license with a compilation for the Switch

Long before being known for Xenoblade, the studio MonolithSoft has, among other things, given rise to the license Baten Kaitos next to tri-crescendogiving birth to two role-playing and adventure games originally published on GameCube in 2003 and 2006 in Japan. Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Ocean lost was entitled to its location in Europe in 2005, but this was not the case for Baten Kaitos Origins, which was enjoyed by North American players. If we are talking to you again today about these rather obscure titles in our time, it is because following A leaked of a superb artwork, bandai namco did take advantage of Nintendo Direct tonight to announce Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster !

This compilation of the two remastered games will therefore land this summer on our Switches, allowing a new generation of players to discover these adventures that seduced more than one at the time, in addition to pleasing fans. Its first trailer introduces the plots of each game while giving us the benefit of their graphic overhaul, in addition to showing the card-based combat system that makes them unique. Two extraordinary JRPGs are making a comeback. “Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean” and “Baten Kaitos Origins” are back with improved graphics and new features to help you progress through the game, making them even easier to play!

Once upon a time, Men and an evil god clashed in a terrible conflict. After a fierce battle, the Men managed to seal the evil god, but this war left only a wasteland behind. Men then decided to abandon this earth and go live in heaven.
