When deploying the 2.1 update of Battlefield 2042, DICE warned us that the title would be entitled to its first event at half the Season 2: Master of Arms. It’s further detailed with a trailer below and will revolve around of the Liquidatorsmercenaries commissioned by the Black market to eliminate competitors.
The event The Liquidators will last from October 11 to 25with a first week in 8v8 and a second in 16v16on small portions of maps known, in a new mode called Tactical Conquest, detailed below. Winning games will earn us Ribbonsallowing you to unlock a background, a skin weapon, a set of Specialist epic and a legendary vehicle skin.
YOU ARE THE LIQUIDATORS.
When a competitor threatens its business, the Black Market sends in its Liquidators, a fearsome squad that specializes in “involuntary asset liquidations.” Your job is to liquidate enemy squads from the battlefield and capture crucial areas for Black Market activity.
The Liquidators do things right.
This mid-season event available for 2 weeks focuses on close combat thanks to infantry clashes in small teams in restricted environments. Play your cards and make a difference. Your squad will need it.
Join a mighty squad in the Liquidators event, available October 11-25, and earn unique rewards.
New Mode: Tactical Conquest
Play a variation of Conquest mode that emphasizes frantic close-quarters infantry combat. Face off against enemy squads as you try to take and hold three flags. To win the round, exhaust the enemy’s tickets.
You will need to work with your squad to maintain control of the objectives. Exploit respawn beacons and bypass routes and storm enemy occupied objectives with your team. The more of you there are on the objective while capturing it, the faster you will capture it.
We will change the number of people who can participate in Tactical Conquest mode as the event progresses.

Restricted play spaces
Eradicate the competition in tight play spaces on Port of Arica, Rupture, Caspian Frontier, Landfill, Renewal, and Grounding.
New missions and rewards
Earn Ribbons in Tactical Conquest to unlock unique rewards during the event.
- 10 Ribbons: “The Shield” Epic Game Sheet Background
- 30 Ribbons: Epic Weapon Skin “Kinetic Caliber” (AM40)
- 60 Ribbons: Epic Specialist Set “Demolition Team” (Dozer)
- 100 Ribbons: Legendary Vehicle Skin “Trojan Horse” (M1A5)
