Since its official release in November 2021, Battlefield 2042 has struggled to convince players. Moreover, the community very quickly abandoned the game, because of the many problems encountered. To the extent that the launch of Battlefield 2042 is considered disastrous and disappointing for many. EA has recognized this and explains this by calling into question two elements.
During this week, the director of EA studios, would have organized a forum to discuss the reception and the launch of Battlefield 2042. It is XFire.com which revealed a recent report on this subject. In this one and during this organized forum, Laura Miele would have explained that the surprise release of Halo Infinite multiplayer necessarily impacted the good reception of Battlefield 2042. Which is quite possible, because the Microsoft exclusive multiplayer was highly anticipated and landed a few days before the official release of Battlefield 2042. Moreover, and unsurprisingly, it also mentions the COVID-19 pandemic. Working from home would have been very difficult during the development of this new Battlefield opus.
However, and despite a petition circulating on the Web asking for the refund of the game, EA intends to rectify the situation and they say to themselves ” fully committed to improve Battlefield 2042.
