A whole new way to play comes to Battlegrounds mode with brand new mechanics. On the occasion of the first major update of the year 2022, the different modes will benefit from some modifications. But if we expect classic announcements for the most part, the battlefields should drastically evolve. All the new features of the mode will be unveiled on stream from January 18 in order to prepare for this year.
A complete presentation for Battlegrounds
It is not one, but 12 streamers who will present the expected novelties for the game mode. The new mechanics of Battlegrounds as well as the new content will be introduced on this occasion. However, we will have to wait until January 20 to find a detailed patch note, and January 25 to be able to test all this in game. No indication is yet given concerning these changes, but it marks a renewal for each hero in the mode of Game.

A global update for Hearthstone
Obviously, this major update for Battlegrounds is accompanied by changes and modifications for the other game modes. However, these will only be presented from January 20, in a dedicated patch note. A little surprise awaits the Duels mode, revealed by RegisKillbin on January 20 at 4:00 p.m. Besides that, new mercenaries are to be expected, as well as some balancing for the classic modes.
