At “Bauer sucht Frau International” single farmers go looking for a partner. They live in these countries.

The sixth season of “Bauer sucht Frau International” starts on Tuesday (April 16th) (8:15 p.m. on RTL or via RTL+). In eight new episodes, farmers around the world will be looking for partners. This time, the “Bauer sucht Frau” spin-off goes to Guatemala, Togo and Colombia, among others.

“Bauer sucht Frau” has been running on RTL since 2005. Since then, Inka Bause (55) has been leading the popular dome show. The international version “Bauer sucht Frau International” started in 2019. In the spin-off, Germans go looking for love abroad and get to know German-speaking farmers there. The single men and women invite the chosen ones to their farm. While mucking out the stable, working in the fields and caring for the animals, it becomes clear whether there is a spark between the couple.

As RTL reports, 32 farmers in 17 countries on six continents have been looking for true love in five seasons. 15 couples who found each other at the Hofwochen prove that the search on TV is worth it. There were two marriage proposals, a wedding and a baby was born. In the sixth season, these singles are looking for great happiness:

The candidates

Andreas (63) actually comes from North Rhine-Westphalia, was married there and has two children and two grandchildren. A trip to Guatemala five years ago changed everything for the IT employee; he built his own farm with a cocoa plantation there. He lives alone and is looking for an active and cheerful partner.

Philipp (42) has a self-sufficiency farm in the Togolese tropics. During the corona pandemic, the former operator of a Berlin fitness studio decided to lead a self-sufficient life in Togo. The daredevil is looking for a nature lover with an interest in self-sufficiency who wants to start a family with him.

Fritz (46) emigrated from Switzerland to France with his family around 20 years ago. He lives with his brother and parents on their shared farm with crops and dairy cattle. He has been single since the end of 2022 and is looking for a partner who knows what everyday life on a farm means.

Markus (40) actually comes from Merano in South Tyrol. A vacation in Madeira was the reason he moved to the island. On his six-hectare property he grows fruit and vegetables and keeps chickens, ducks and goats. A healthy diet with regional products is important to him in his everyday life. He would like to start a family with a partner.

Gerfried (51) from Styria did not find true love on “Bauer sucht Frau” in Austria in 2014, and he has been single again for a year. He took over farming with horse boarding and forestry areas from his parents. Now he wants to finally settle down with a woman who is close to nature.

Peter (33) runs a family farm with a dairy farm in Tyrol. As a part-time job he works as a caretaker. The farmer has been single for four years and, like Gerfried, has gained dome show experience with “Bauer sucht Frau” in Austria. However, he didn’t find the right person on the show in 2020. Now he is looking for a woman who values honesty and fun in life. Peter can also imagine starting his own family.

Marisol (66), daughter of a Chilean mother and a German father, spent her childhood in Colombia. After moving to Germany and suffering from cancer, she decided to return to Colombia. There, at the age of 63, she bought a piece of land to grow organic coffee and animals such as horses, oxen and pigs. Your partner should be structured and stable and speak Spanish or want to learn it.

Ulrike (57) emigrated to Brazil with her husband in 2008. He died in 2022, and since then she has been running the farm alone with organic fruit cultivation, eucalyptus cultivation and animal husbandry. Among other things, she keeps donkeys, ducks and a toucan. Your partner should have a sense of humor and be good at crafts.
