Bavaria: Pope opens prayer marathon – view

On Saturday evening, the head of the Catholic Church held the first rosary devotion of the initiative planned for the whole of May in a chapel in St. Peter’s Basilica in front of more than 150 believers.

Every day the prayer ceremony is to be held at a different Marian pilgrimage site in the world. According to the Holy See, the Chapel of Grace in the Bavarian pilgrimage town of Altötting will also be there on May 28, but without the personal participation of the Pope. On May 31, the pontiff wants to conclude the prayer marathon in the gardens of the Vatican. (SDA)
