BD MULTIMEDIA: Obtaining PSAN status for BD MULTIMEDIA – 09/25/2023 at 08:00

All the teams at BD Multimedia are delighted to see the successful completion of a project that has been underway for several months and has enabled the company to become a PSAN (digital asset service provider).

Thus, during its meeting of September 5, 2023, the College of the Financial Markets Authority (AMF), and with the assent of the Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR), approved the application for registration of the company as PSAN.

A FINTECH TURN THAT IS MATERIALIZING

For some time now, a new team has been formed to strengthen the Group’s efforts in payment activities.

The teams focused their efforts on updating and relaunching PSP and neo-banking activities with a vision: in the era of “Super Apps” for individuals and banking-as-a-service for professionals, BD MULTIMEDIA has the assets to meet all the needs of the market and will become a key player!

PSAN REGISTRATION IN ADDITION TO THE GROUP’S PRE-EXISTING PAYMENT ACTIVITIES

BD Multimedia therefore requested and obtained registration as a PSAN in order to provide the services of:

• custody of digital assets on behalf of third parties;

• buying or selling digital assets in legal tender;

• exchange of digital assets for other digital assets;

as defined respectively in 1°, 2° and 3° of Article D. 54-10-1 of the Monetary and Financial Code.

In the short and medium term, the Group plans to implement a fiat-to-crypto staking and purchase-sale solution, as well as crypto-to-crypto exchange. These two cryptoactive financial services are part of a strategy of differentiation and expansion of the activities of the Group and its subsidiaries in relation to their respective competitive environments (BtoB, BtoC, BtoBtoC).

Ultimately, the launch of an NFT offering is part of an investment and diversification strategy, particularly in the gaming, sports and art sectors.

The applications made possible by obtaining PSAN registration are therefore numerous since they are applicable to all sectors of the Group, individual and professional customers.

This registration is fully in line with the Group’s Fintech shift and constitutes an important source of new functionalities and opportunities on which we will not fail to communicate if necessary.
