Heiner Lauterbach (70) and Uwe Ochsenknecht (67) celebrated their big breakthrough together with the cult comedy “Men” (1985). Almost forty years later, they dare a special duel. The two acting stars will compete on August 19 in “Schlag den Star” on ProSieben. At prime time, up to 15 rounds will decide who will triumph in the competition.

The rivals are willing to fight

In advance, the rivals are already combative. “You do know that Heiner is already over 70, right? I’m just saying, with the sporting stories, that you have a defibrillator there?” Uwe Ochsenknecht teases in the advance notice. Heiner Lauterbach shoots back: “I’ve been thinking for a long time about what Uwe is really good at. Then I thought of something. He’s quick and merciless. Tired quickly and mercilessly slow.”

The new edition of “Beat the Star”, in which Lauterbach and Ochsenknecht compete against each other, can be seen on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben and online in the stream on Joyn. The winner receives 100,000 euros. Elton (52) leads through the evening, while Ron Ringguth (57) comments.
